Tjulpa pirni Ngaanatjarra Lands pangka nyinapai / All the birds living in the Ngaanatjarra Lands. Luunpa / Sacred Kingfishers. 

I see the luunpa (sacred kingfisher) in pairs around the community sitting on the telegraph lines. These two birds I made are husband and wife. The luunpa dig a hole in the breakway or side of the creek to make a nest for their babies. They use their strong, pointy beak to make the hole in the mud where they make a nest to lay their eggs.  

Raffia, wool, wire, punu (wood).
