Samantha Allies Wungundin is an emerging artist at Mowanjum Art and Culture Centre. In 2014 Samantha won the Kimberly Art Prize,Emerging Ar􀆟st Award, for her carved boab nut, 'Wandjina Dreaming.'Recently Samantha has enjoyed learning colour mixing and curatorial prac􀆟ce. Samantha comes from a family of ar􀆟sts including hermother, Nancy Wungundin, and sister, Tanisha Allies Wungundin.She worked in recent year for the art centre as arts worker but took a few years of break. She is now back with the art centre.
