Revealed Catalogue

Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists maps a journey across the vast state of Western Australia—from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West. Presenting over 180 works from 101 artists, the exhibition is the state’s largest celebration of Aboriginal art. Spanning a remarkable breadth of mediums including painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture and weaving, the works reflect the vastness of Country and cultural practice across these lands.  
 
Delivered under the custodianship of the Aboriginal Art Centre Hub Western Australia (AACHWA), Revealed showcases the work of Aboriginal artists and offers a rare chance to purchase their work, with all proceeds going directly to artists and their communities—supporting the continuation of emerging Aboriginal artists’ practices.  

In 2026, Revealed works have been selected by a distinguished panel including Ilona McGuire (Noongar and Kungarakan), Glenn Iseger-Pilkington (Nhanda, Nyoongar, Dutch and Scottish), Lynley Nargoodah (Nyikina and Walmajarri) and Zali Morgan (Whadjuk Balladong and Wilman). 

The exhibition is accompanied by a full suite of programs, including an art market, free artist talks, artist-led workshops, a drop-in making space and a not-to-be-missed opening night.
