It is the site where the Punyunyu\/Tingarri women would stay separate from the men during the Tingarri ceremony. At that site they prepared food for the men and Maliki (visitors). Tjarlirli pays homage to the woman for their important role in food gathering, preparation, cooking and feeding of their menfolk and families. Mal inherited this story from his mother, the renowned artist, Mrs T. Porter. The name of Tjarlirli Art Centre takes its name from this site. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48633604964602,"sku":null,"price":1632.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0650\/8888\/0890\/files\/Screenshot_2026-04-22_at_8.38.06_pm.png?v=1776861543","url":"https:\/\/pica-arts.myshopify.com\/products\/rev-65","provider":"Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
